
This is something that goes beyond my rational thinking, did companies forgot that the customer is always right, but I mean it – ALWAYS RIGHT. So that makes me think, are we really listening enough to what customers are saying?
I want to hear from you about how you feel about today’s customer service.

I think it depends on a case by case basis. most of the companies i know lack any decent customer service. however there are a few exceptions, for instance Mai Linh the taxi company is one of the top ones i have in my list of good customer service. i need to travel to hcm from ca mau once a month and this taxi company makes me feel real good. when I need to go, i call them up and a taxi car comes to pick me up at my home for free. the driver even opens the door for me and thanks me for using Mai Linh, no kidding. after a short drive, he takes me to the main bus station were i get inside a big bus and again, the good experience doesn’t end there, i get a free towel, a nice welcome and even a bottle of water for the trip. so yeah, still there are some good companies out there.

Thanks so much for sharing your comments and continued support. I agree with you that the search for good customer service, unfortunately depends on who are you dealing with in the first place. And I say “unfortunately” because good customer service should be the standards in any respectable business, small, medium or large.
You have brought a good example on customer experience. I have in fact traveled a couple of times with Mai Linh and overall, it was a pretty good service and therefore, I would recommend it.
